John Lund has worked in capital markets for 15 years+ (10 at Accenture and 5+ as an independent consultant). He has experience both as programme manager (delivering solutions to complex business problems) and as derivatives and collateral management expert (providing business guidance). Areas of expertise include:
•OTC Client clearing / Dodd Frank / EMIR SME (client clearing since 2009) with focus on IRS/CDS/NDF, CCP engagement and business product development of client services (e.g. financing, client reporting and portal).
•Collateral Management Solutions including vendor selection for both the sell and buyside covering the front to back processes of margining and collateralisation for both cleared and uncleared derivatives
•Project management of global teams (e.g. ETD business expansion, stock loan front-to-back transformation, MUREX implementation, collateral strategic review)
• Consulting expertise across multiple organisations including Goldman Sachs, UBS, Morgan Stanley, ML, Barclays and HSBC.
• Future state business architecture definition (e.g. strategic review of collateral management & optimisation across all collateralised businesses)
•Strong team player with experience building partnerships (both internally and externally) to deliver business objectives. Adept at communicating complex business problems succinctly to diverse stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
